TAMRA (tetramethylrhodamine) is a xanthene dye of rhodamine series. This fluorophore is being used for quite a long time for the preparation of dual labeled qPCR TaqMan oligonucleotide probes containing TAMRA and fluorescein (FAM).
Just like many other xanthene fluorophores, TAMRA is a available as two isomers (5- and 6-isomer) which have nearly identical optical properties. This product is an isomerically pure 5-TAMRA.
TAMRA NHS is an amine reactive reagent. It can be used for the labeling of proteins, peptides, and modified oligonucleotides containing amine groups.

Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 is a near infrared water soluble and hydrophilic dye for the NIR imaging applications. The structure and spectra of the dye resemble indocyanine green (ICG) that has been approved for use in humans for years. However, unlike ICG, sulfo-Cyanine7.5 contains a trimethylene bridge that increases its quantum yield compared to ICG, and also has a linker arm for its attachment to proteins, peptides, and other molecules. This derivative is an NHS ester for the modification of amine groups.

AF488 is a bright and photostable dye. Due to its high hydrophilicity, this is a dye of choice for the labeling of sensitive proteins and antibodies. The dye is useful for many demanding applications, including microscopy.
From the chemical standpoint, AF488 is a sulfonated rhodamine dye Rhodamine 110 (R110). Like other rhodamines, it is available as 5- and 6-isomers, which have almost identical photophysical properties.

Rhodamine 6G (R6G) is a xanthene dye of rhodamine series that has been used for the labeling of oligonucleotides and DNA for quite a long time. Just like other xanthenes, R6G comes as two isomers, 5- and 6-isomer. Even though their absorption and emission spectra are virtually indistinguishable, the isomers need to be separated to avoid separation of the labeled molecules during their purification, i.e. double HPLC peaks and double spots on electrophoresis.
This is an amine reactive NHS ester derived from a pure 5-isomer of R6G. Rhodamine 6G is very bright (even used as a quantum yield standard, yield 0.95). The dye is soluble in organic solvents, such as DMF, or DMSO. They can be used as co-solvents for the labeling reactions.

Sulfotetrafluorophenyl (STP) esters are excellent alternatives to conventional N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) esters. Compared to NHS esters, STP esters provide better ratio of labeling to hydrolysis in aqueous environments.

Dibenzocyclooctyne (ADIBO, DBCO) is one of the most reactive cycloalkynes for strain promoted alkyne azide cycloaddition (spAAC) – a copper free Click chemistry reaction.
This is an amine-reactive NHS ester that provides easy attachment of the reactive moiety to almost any primary or secondary amine group, such as that of protein, peptide, or small molecule amine.
DBCO reacts instantly with azides. The rate of the reaction is much higher than that of copper-catalyzed reaction, and reactions with many other cyclooctynes. Unlike some other cyclooctynes, DBCO does not react with tetrazines – this allows to carry out orthogonal conjugation of azides with DBCO, and trans-cyclooctenes with tetrazines.

Alkyne NHS ester for the modification of biomolecules. Alkyne groups for copper catalyzed Click Chemistry reaction are nearly never encountered in natural molecules. However, this NHS ester allows to attach alkyne groups to amino groups, which are ubiquitous in nature, and which are present in proteins, peptides, synthetic amino-DNA and numerous small molecules. Alkyne groups can be subsequently modified and conjugated by Copper catalyzed Click chemistry.
