A derivative of Cyanine5 red-emitting fluorophore possessing DBCO (dibenzocyclooctyne, also known as ADIBO, azodibenzocyclooctyne) group for copper free Click chemistry.

Strained cycloalkynes, such as cyclooctynes, react with azides very rapidly in the absence of copper catalyst in a strain promoted alkyne azide cycloaddition (spAAC). This reaction is very fast, mild, and biocompatible.

Compared to other cycloalkynes, DBCO provide among the fastest reaction kinetics, still possessing good stability.

Cyanine5 amine is a reactive dye which contains amino group, an analog of Cy5® amine. This reagent can be coupled with a variety of activated esters and other electrophilic reagents. For example, this amine can be coupled with EDC-activated carboxylic groups.

This bright and photostable dye is suitable for many different methods of fluorescence detection. Colorful fluorophore can also be easily detected in small quantities (nanomols) by naked human eye.

Cyanine5 hydrazide is a reactive dye for the labeling of aldehydes and ketones, an analog of Cy5® hydrazide.

This dye reacts smoothly and nearly quantitatively with various carbonyl groups encountered in biomolecules. Examples are proteins subjected to oxidative stress, glycosylated proteins pre-activated by periodate oxidation (including antobodies), and oligonucleotides with aldehyde moieties.

Cyanine5 hydrazide replaces carbonyl-reactive Cy5®, DyLight 649 dyes.

Cyanine5 alkyne for Click Chemistry, an analog of Cy5® alkyne. With this product, deeply colored, and photostable Cyanine5 fluorophore can be attached to various molecules via Click Chemistry reaction with azides.

This alkyne is non-water soluble, but it can be dissolved in DMF or DMSO prior to reaction, and added to aqueous reaction mixture. With our labeling protocol, the labeling reaction is very efficient, and high-yielding.

Various substrates bearing azides can be used for the labeling, including azido-labeled biomolecules, polymers, and solid surfaces.

Water-soluble Cyanine5 dye azide for Click chemistry. Bright and photostable dye with red fluorescence. The reagent has high water solubility. Due to high solubility and hydrophilicity, the dye can be used for labeling biomolecules in native, purely aqueous conditions.

This reagent, as opposed to competing products, is supplied as an alkaline metal salt and not triethylammonium salt. Therefore, it is a powder which is easy to handle and dispense.

Cyanine5 azide labeling reagent for Click Chemistry, available as 10 mM solution in DMSO, and in solid form.

This azide is soluble in organic solvents (e.g. DMSO, DMF), therefore the labeling reaction should be carried out with a small amount of an organic co-solvent. This azide can be used for the labeling of alkyne-modified biomolecules in mixtures of water with organic solvents. The solution in DMSO is ready for use in bioconjugation. A water-soluble sulfonated version of this reagent is also available.

Cyanine5 is an analog of Cy5®, one of the most commonly used fluorophores which is compatible with various instruments. Cyanine5 can also be used as a replacement for DyLight® 649.
