Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 is a water soluble, near infrared fluorescent dye. The structure of the dye is similar to indocyanine green (ICG), but it contains a rigid trimethine linker increasing its fluorescence quantum yield.

This fluorophore is useful for near infrared imaging. Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 carboxylic acid contains a free carboxy group.

Sulfo-Cyanine7 carboxylic acid is non-reactive water soluble near infrared dye.

The reagent is useful as a fluorescent marker in NIR range when attachment to other molecules is not desired. It has high hydrophilicity and aqueous solubility, improved quantum yield in NIR range, and very high molar extinction coefficient.

This reagent contains free carboxylic acid function. Pre-activated activated ester – sulfo-Cyanine7 NHS ester is also available.

Sulfo-Cyanine3.5 is a cyanine fluorophore with fluorescence in the orange spectrum range. Its absorption and emission spectra are between those of Cyanine3 and Cyanine5.

This dye is a sulfonated form of Cyanine3.5 (contains four sulfo groups), so it has good solubility and can be used in reactions without adding organic solvents.

This reagent is a derivative with a free carboxyl group. Because of its inactivity in physiological conditions, sulfo-Cyanine3.5 carboxylic acid derivative can be used as a negative control in experiments with active dye derivatives. The carboxylic acid can be activated with carbodiimides (e. g. EDAC) and react with hydrazines, hydroxylamines, and amines.

AF488 carboxylic acid is a non-reactive AF488 form that can be used as a reference standard in experiments where AF488 conjugates are used. Sulfo-Cyanine3 is a sulfated derivative of Cyanine3 dye, well soluble in water because of two negatively charged sulfo groups in its structure. By its spectral characteristics, this yellow-orange fluorescent dye is an analog of Cy™3.

Hydrazides efficiently react with aldehydes and ketones resulting in hydrazones, so this compound can be used for conjugation with carbonyl derivatives of biomolecules.

The reaction runs in aqueous conditions, which is important when working with antibodies and proteins. Cys-diol groups in sugars in glycosylated proteins and antibodies can be oxidized into dialdehydes, and cysteine in proteins can be converted with enzymes to formyl glycerol (i. e. reactive groups for conjugation with Sulfo-Cyanine3 hydrazide). Carboxyl groups of aspartic and glutamic acids in proteins and peptides can be also conjugated with Sulfo-Cyanine3 hydrazide in the presence of activating agents: carbodiimide (EDAC) or methyl morpholine (DMTMM) derivatives.

Pyrene hydrazide is a carbonyl reactive dye for the attachment of pyrene polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon residues to aldehydes and ketones.

Pyrene is a blue-emitting fluorescent label which is especially useful as a proximity probe. When two pyrene residues are located close to each other, a longer-wavelength excimer fluorescence can be detected. Pyrene can also be FRET donor to other fluorophores. Its excited state possesses an unusually long lifetime of more than 100 ns, which allows to use this fluorophore in time-gated experiments.
