Introduction

Lymphotoxin alpha, a member of the tumor necrosis factor family, is a cytokine produced by lymphocytes. LTA is highly inducible, secreted, and exists as homotrimeric molecule. LTA forms heterotrimers with lymphotoxin-beta which anchors lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface. LTA mediates a large variety of inflammatory, immunostimulatory, and antiviral responses. Biological Activity

Tilapia leptins were found to be biologically active in promoting proliferation of BAF/3 cells stably transfected with the long form of human leptin receptor, but their activity was lower than that of mammalian leptin. Furthermore, the Tilapia leptins were biologically active in promoting STAT‐LUC activation in COS7 cells transfected with Tilapia leptin receptor but not in cells transfected with human leptin receptor. Tilapia Leptin A was more active than Tilapia Leptin B.

Introduction

Recombinant Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 2 Fusion Protein produced in CHO is a dimeric, glycosylated, polypeptide chain consisting of the extracellular ligand-binding portion of the human 75 kilo Dalton tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 linked to the Fc portion of human IgG1. The Fc component of TNFR2 contains the CH2 domain, the CH3 domain and hinge region, but not the CH1 domain of IgG1. It consists of 934 amino acids and has an apparent molecular weight of approximately 150 kilo Daltons.

Introduction

Prolactin is a neuroendocrine hormone synthesized primarily by the pituitary gland but also a variety of other cell types including the placenta, brain and uterus. Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Prolactin in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O or 0.4% NaHCO3 adjusted to pH 8-9, not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability

Lyophilized Prolactin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Prl should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein .

Protein quantitation was carried out by UV spectroscopy at 280 nm using the absorbency value of 0.93 as the extinction coefficient for a 0.1% solution. This value is calculated by the PC DNAman computer analysis program of protein sequences.

Introduction

TNFR2 belongs to the TNF-receptor superfamily. TNFR2 is receptor with high affinity for TNFSF2/TNF-alpha and approximately 5-fold lower affinity for homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. TNFR2 mediates the majority of the metabolic effects of TNF-alpha. In addition, knockout studies in mice propose a role for TNFR2 in protecting neurons from apoptosis by stimulating antioxidative pathways. TNFR2 expression might have a significant role in the angiogenesis, tumor cell proliferation and metastasis of Invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast.
There are 2 types of soluble TNF receptors: sTNFR-I and sTNFR-II, which act to neutralize the biological activities of TNF alpha and TNF beta. The levels of these soluble receptors seem to increase as a result of shedding of the extracellular domains of the membrane bound receptors. High levels of soluble TNF receptors are found in the amniotic fluid of pregnant women. TNFR2 shows multiple bands between 28-40kDa on -PAGE, reducing conditions and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction

Prolactin is a lactogenic hormone secreted by the adenohypophysis .Besides its major action on lactation, in some species prolactin exerts effects on reproduction, maternal behavior, fat metabolism, immunomodulation and osmoregulation.Prolactin has been shown also to have cytokine-like activities and to have important immunoregulatory activities. Introduction

Human TNFRSF10A is a type 1 transmembrane protein in the TNF R superfamily. TNFRSF10A is not expressed in rodents. The trimeric ligand Trail binds TNFRSF10A and induces apoptosis, and recombinant, soluble forms of the receptor inhibit Trail-induced apoptosis. The TNFRSF10B reduced the production of LPS-induced TNF by its ability to neutralize endogenous TRAIL in fresh human PBMC. In this assay, endogenous TRAIL is induced during a 24 hour exposure to LPS but in the presence of TNFRSF10B, TRAIL-induced TNF is suppressed.

Introduction

sRANK Receptor is a part of of the TNF superfamily of ligands and receptors which participates in the regulation of specific immunity and bone turnover. sRANK Receptor was originally acknowledged as a dendritic-cell-membrane protein, which by interacting with RANKL augments the capacity of dendritic cells to stimulate naive T cell proliferation and to endorse the survival of RANK and T cells. The full length human RANK cDNA encodes a type I transmembrane protein of 616 amino acids with a predicted 183 amino acid extracellular domain and a 383 amino acid cytoplasmic domain. sRANK Receptor is also expressed in a various tissues including skeletal muscle, thymus, liver, colon, small intestine and adrenal gland.

Description

sRANKL Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 175 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19.7kDa.

Physical Appearance

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder.

Formulation

The protein was lyophilized from a concentrated solution containing 10mM Sodium phosphate, pH-7.5.

Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized sRANKL in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O at a concentration of 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability

Lyophilized TNFSF11 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution sRANKL should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein .
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 95.0% as determined by analysis by -PAGE.
