Introduction
PLGF is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration. It binds to receptor vegfr-1/flt1.
Description
PLGF3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated homodimer containing 2×204 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 45.8kDa.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder.
Formulation
Lyophilized from a sterile filtered aqueous solution containing 0.1% Trifluoroacetic Acid .
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized PLGF-3 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized PLGF3 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PLGF-3 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein .
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
