BDP TMR is a bright high quantum yield fluorophore for the TAMRA channel similar to BODIPY™ TMR. BDP TMR is not sensitive to pH changes within the range from 4 to 10 and can be used for staining lipophilic compounds due to its hydrophobic properties.
BDP TMR DBCO enters into bioorthogonal Click Chemistry reactions with molecules that contain an azide fragment. The reaction is promoted by ring strain and undergoes without toxic Cu (I) catalysts.
