CYT-868
Synonyms
PIGF, PGF, PlGF-2, PLGF-2.
Introduction
PLGF is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration. It binds to receptor vegfr-1/flt1.
PLGF-2 binds neuropilin-1 and 2 in a heparin-dependent manner.

Source
Chinese Hamster Ovary cells .
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder.
Formulation
PLGF-2 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered solution in HCl.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized PLGF2 at 200µg/ml in PBS, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized PLGF-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PLGF2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein .
