Introduction
WISP1 is a part of a family of cysteine-rich, glycosylated signaling proteins that mediate varied developmental processes. WISP1 is a Downstream regulator in the Wnt/Frizzled-signaling pathway and is linked with cell survival.WISP1weakens p53-mediated apoptosis in response to DNA damage through activation of AKT kinase and up-regulates the anti-apoptotic Bcl-X protein.

Formulation
WISP1 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered solution in PBS.
Solubility
It is recommended to add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely.
Stability
Store lyophilized protein at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.
